Terms of Service

Overview

These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to your use of founder.manarox.com (the "Website"), run by Abdullah Shahid, trading as ASK.dev ("I", "me" or "my"). By using the Website, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Website.

The Website is a portfolio. It shows my work, explains the services I offer and lets you get in touch. Any paid work is covered by a separate written agreement, described below.

Summary at a Glance

  • Information only: The Website describes my work and services. It is not an offer or a contract.
  • Estimates aren't quotes: The savings calculator and any figures on the site are illustrative only.
  • Project agreements come first: Paid work is governed by a written proposal or agreement, which takes priority over these Terms.
  • Content ownership: Site content belongs to me or to the clients the work was done for.
  • Fair use of the site: No scraping, spam, abuse or attempts to break its security.
  • Governing law: The laws of Pakistan, with the courts of Lahore having jurisdiction.

Using the Website

You may browse the Website, read its content, download my CV and contact me for genuine business purposes. When using the Website, you agree not to:

  • Misuse forms: Send spam, automated submissions, misleading information or harmful content through the contact form.
  • Attack the site: Try to gain unauthorized access, test for vulnerabilities without permission, or disrupt the Website or its servers.
  • Scrape in bulk: Use bots, crawlers or scripts to copy the Website's content in bulk, other than normal search engine indexing.
  • Impersonate: Pretend to be another person or business, or misrepresent your connection with anyone.
  • Break the law: Use the Website for any illegal purpose.

I may block access or ignore submissions that break these rules.

Services, Estimates and Quotes

The services described on the Website, such as AI and workflow automation, Laravel development, web scraping, WordPress work, hosting and maintenance, are a general description of what I offer. They are not a promise that I can take on any particular project.

  1. Savings calculator: The "Estimate your monthly saving" tool is a rough, illustrative estimate based only on the numbers you enter. Real results depend on your processes, data and systems. It is not a quote, guarantee or binding offer.
  2. Enquiries: Sending the contact form, an email or a WhatsApp message does not create a contract or commit either of us to any work.
  3. Quotes: A quote is only valid when given in writing for a specific scope of work, and only for the period stated in it.
  4. Project agreements: Paid work begins only after both sides accept a written proposal or agreement covering scope, timeline, payment, ownership and support. If that agreement conflicts with these Terms, the agreement applies.

Portfolio Content and Results

Case studies, figures and demos on the Website describe real work, but some details are simplified or anonymized to protect client confidentiality. Some demos and diagrams are illustrations made for this Website and are not the live client systems.

Results from past projects, such as time saved, volumes handled or sites migrated, depended on each client's situation. They are not a guarantee of the results your project will achieve.

Intellectual Property

  • Website content: The text, design, branding, demos and code samples on the Website belong to me unless stated otherwise.
  • Client work: Screenshots, names and logos from client projects belong to those clients and are shown with permission or for portfolio purposes only.
  • Open-source packages: My published packages are covered by the licenses stated in their own repositories, not by these Terms.
  • Third-party trademarks: Names such as Laravel, WordPress and Python belong to their owners and are used only to describe the technologies I work with.

You may share links to any page. Copying, republishing or reusing Website content, screenshots or branding requires my written permission.

How I handle the information you share is explained in the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Any dispute relating to the Website or these Terms falls under the jurisdiction of the courts of Lahore, Pakistan, unless a signed project agreement says otherwise.

Before taking formal action, both sides agree to try to resolve any disagreement in good faith by contacting each other directly.

Frequently asked questions

Is the savings calculator result a quote?

No. The calculator gives a rough, illustrative estimate based on the numbers you enter. A real quote is only given in writing after your project has been discussed.

Does sending the contact form create a contract?

No. Sending an enquiry does not commit either of us to anything. Paid work starts only after a written proposal or agreement has been accepted by both sides.

Who owns the code for a project I hire you to build?

Ownership is set out in the project agreement. Usually, ownership of the custom work passes to the client once it has been paid for in full. Reusable tools, libraries and open-source packages stay with their original owners.

Can I reuse the content or screenshots on this website?

Not without permission. You may share links to pages, but copying text, screenshots, demos or branding requires written permission. Some screenshots belong to the clients the work was done for.
